Uncontrolled site access
Cards and fingerprints are impractical for workers in gloves and dusty environments, slowing gates and allowing tailgating.
ZKTeco · ZKBio CVSecurity
A five-in-one integrated management platform that combines hardware and software to raise safety and operational efficiency on construction sites across Zimbabwe — access control, personnel, vehicles, video, and attendance in one system.
Construction projects face constant security pressure: uncontrolled site access, incomplete attendance records, perimeter breaches, and poor night-time visibility. Vectraops supplies and supports ZKTeco’s ZKBio CVSecurity-based Smart Construction Site stack from Harare.
Deploy facial recognition terminals, cameras, PTZ coverage, LPR/UHF vehicle control, and intelligent analytics edge devices — unified under ZKBio CVSecurity for omni-directional surveillance, people counting, key-personnel control, perimeter protection, and video-linked alarms.
Cards and fingerprints are impractical for workers in gloves and dusty environments, slowing gates and allowing tailgating.
Large sites need continuous monitoring of fences, towers, and work layers — including after dark.
Missed clock-ins and dirty number plates break payroll and visitor accountability without video or UHF fallback.
Separate access, CCTV, parking, and attendance tools leave managers without a single “who is inside” view.
Facial access, video analytics, vehicle control, attendance, and perimeter monitoring converge on ZKBio CVSecurity for a single control-room view.

After biometric verification at the gate, worker name, role, and related details can appear on a connected LED in real time. Administrators see how many people remain in a zone — with ID, department, and last reader — for evacuation and roll-call readiness.

Visible-light facial recognition solves card-free authentication on site. Recognition distance up to about 3 metres and up to 30° angle tolerance keep traffic flowing even when workers cannot use fingerprints or carry cards.

Unauthorised verification attempts can trigger automatic video pop-ups so control-room staff review the live scene immediately and respond with linked alarms.

Line-crossing detection supports perimeter and key-area control. Facial analytics enable key-personnel tracking and trajectory reports, with tailgating detection that raises an alarm when follow-through entry occurs.

Infrared HD PTZ cameras deliver wide coverage (pan up to 180°/s, tilt up to 100°/s) for tower cranes and work layers. Human detection reduces false alarms and extends reliable monitoring through the night.

License-plate recognition handles clear visitor plates. UHF covers dirty plates and heavy trucks common on construction sites. Guard booths and parking exits can be monitored centrally with video linkage.

Use access events, video snapshots, and LPR parking data as attendance sources. Administrators can reconcile missed clock-ins from video or vehicle records without rebuilding the whole day sheet.

Group workers by company or department and apply shared attendance rules — check-in, check-out, and overtime — so multi-contractor sites stay consistent.
